What a pitiful attempt at blogging!  The whole idea is to offer daily (or at least periodic) updates of life so that our friends and family can keep up to date; however, the problem is consistent internet access.  It's the Bahamas, mon, and not only is internet spotty at best but even when you find a place with internet, it may or may not be working  Have some rum, relax, it's the Bahamas!

So let's catch up a bit ...

Lady Enna and crew are sitting pretty in the most gorgeous water!  The colors range from Bahama blue, turquoise, deep blue, light sandy blue (notice the pattern?) depending on what's underneath. You learn to read water as well as you read a chart.  Our location is Staniel Cay (pronounced "key") which is midway in the Exumas.  This is truly a spectacularly beautiful place!   But how did we get here ...???

Leaving Miami with our beautiful friends, the Gadjo family, brought us through Bimini, Chubb (the Berry Islands) to New Providence Island/Paradise Island.  Our trip across the Gulf Stream was a bit rolly but uneventful except for a little stowaway.
This little guy had no business out in the middle of the Gulf and was so exhausted that he decided to land on our flybridge and rest for a while.

Our entrance into Bimini brought everyone out on the foredeck to check out the beautiful water but also the wildlife.  Three rays heralded our entrance here.

After checking in, we headed to Charlie's where we could find Bimini bread - the best bread EVER! - and then on to our anchorage for our first night in another country.
