Nassau ... finally!  Nick found us a very special place to anchor - Rose Island just off the coast of Paradise Island.  Another one of those islands you don't think exists - white, sandy beach; reefs all around us; and Gilligan's Island just at our stern.  No, really, remember the opening credits where they showed a slightly sparse tropical island but in the show was a dense forest of palm trees and other tropic shrubbery?  Well, this is that opening credit island (with Lady Enna in front).
There were three really great reefs just off the swim platform filled with coral and loads of fish.  Isn't it amazing how the kayak and dinghy look like they're suspended in that gorgeous water?!

And here's our beach.

Not only did we enjoy snorkeling and exploring the beach, but the kids really took advantage of the rope swing.

While the parents took advantage of another kind of fun ... the rum kind!

Life is REALLY good at the end of an anchor ... especially with good friends!
