Allen's Cay

After leaving Nassau, we had a comfortable cruise to Allen's Cay at the north end of the Exumas.  We targeted there because of the famous rock iguanas who live there.  We pulled into a full anchorage (seems there were many people who wanted to check out these little guys) and were also met by a couple of sharks and really large rays (which took care of swimming for the kids).  As always, beautiful, clear blue water surrounded us.  After an uneventful night, we headed to shore to meet these critters.  Turns out, they're not so little.  They also can be a bit intimidating when they swarm you looking for some sort of veggie treat.
Eileen is with a couple of undergrad students from Indiana who come here to study the iguanas.

Life is good at the end of an (iguana laden) anchor!
