Join Nick, Angela, Nicholas and Eileen on our boating journey as we cruise the waters of U.S. and the Bahamas aboard our beautiful 56' Matthews MY "Lady Enna." We're taking this extended journey to expand education out of the confines of a classroom, to focus on our family, and to take advantage of this great way of life!

Submarine
This is a NAVY submarine we got to watch depart from Norfolk, VA. The really interesting thing is that you'll hear on the VHF "Securite, securite, submarine vessel departing. All traffic must stay at least 500 yards away. If you enter the security zone, you will be removed with force including deadly force. Out." This one was flanked by the tugs you see in the picture but also with two military ships with flashing lights to make sure you knew. You'll hear these VHF calls about different large ships departing and as a small personal watercraft, you give way to everything. It can be a bit intimidating but very cool! Oh, and we saw Bob's air craft carrier (#69) in dock.
