OBX baby! We're crabbing, fishing, enjoying great friends (The Lowes, the Nicholls) and meeting some wonderful people! We have met some NEW friends as well - our marina neighbors (pictured above) took us in, introduced us around, loaned us their car, and shared food, drinks and truly fun times. Our kids played with their "kids," so it all worked out great!
One of the remarkable things (to us Floridians at least) is Fall and cooler temps (I even got to wear jeans)! We're here until October 4 after which we're heading to Charleston to see our fabulous friends, the Adams Family, until November 1. After that we're hightailin' it back to St. Pete for mid-November arrival . . . just in time for Thanksgiving.
Life is (still) good at the end of an anchor!
