When our friends Kenny and Amanda Nicholls came to visit us, we all piled in the van and headed to Ft. Raleigh to learn about the Lost Colony. It turned into a school lesson where each child attended two presentations on the history of the Lost Colony and wrote answers after learning facts about the voyage, life in a colony, and history. It was a three hour endeavor and they were proud of themselves (as they should be!). Here are Nicholas and Sarah Ruth showing off their work!
