Eileen, ever the entrepreneur, gathered some of her latest artwork and held an art sale to which only the most sophisticated art collectors were invited (and those who walked around downtown Manteo). She sold six pieces and was further commissioned for one more. Her earnings were in the six figure range (if you add a lot of leading zero's), were matched my mom and dad and promptly exchanged at the store for a brand new Webkinz (Snuggles, the silver grey cat if you were wondering).
