Join Nick, Angela, Nicholas and Eileen on our boating journey as we cruise the waters of U.S. and the Bahamas aboard our beautiful 56' Matthews MY "Lady Enna." We're taking this extended journey to expand education out of the confines of a classroom, to focus on our family, and to take advantage of this great way of life!

Day Two
We've finally headed out! Hurray! Leaving St. Pete was admittedly very hard (who would have thought!). Our first day we were greated by yucky weather and rough seas; however, by the time we reached the skyway bridge, they flattened out making the journey much easier. Our first night we spent in Sarasota Yacht Club where we had a final evening with Mom and Dad. We left the club at 9:30 in the morning and spent 9 hours underway and have finally anchored out at the north end of Sanibel Island. The kids have been amazing!!! Playing well together, Eileen keeps asking when we're starting homeschooling, so I've started her on her summer math and her journal. Nicholas has also been writing in his journal. The boat's been flawless - it seems all of our hard work is paying off. Going to finish my wine with the sunset . . . Life is good on the end of an anchor!
